WHAT MAKES HANDBELLS SO SPECIAL?

Imagine you are about to watch a master pianist perform.

To your surprise... TWELVE people walk up to the piano and prepare to play it instead of just one. That's TWELVE different people preparing to play one piano together.

This is what happens when a handbell choir plays!

Each handbell ringer is responsible for playing a select few bells. Like keys on a piano, each bell is a single note. Under the direction of our choir director, we all must play together in perfect sync as one instrument to create the music we love.
